I should have known that today was going to be one of those... seeing how I woke up late, didnt eat breakfast, and my lunch was all soggy and gross...
I got a permanent job (which is GREAT but that happened yesterday) at Group Health and they do background checks on everyone they hire, no problem right I dont have a record... wrong...
So since I actually work at the temp agency that is pimpin me out to Group Health (after 3 months I will become a permanent no more temp employee) I was there when my background check came through and you now what it said DANIELLE R THOMPSON-CONVICTED FELON! needless to say my jaw dropped opened. I instantly started freaking out thinking someone had stolen my identity, but after my freak out we figured out that there is another Danielle Thompson living in the Spokane area. HA HA (and I thought it was funny until) right well yea it would be funny except now I have to go get finger printed to confirm that I really am another Danielle Thompson and that I didnt just steal another Danielle Thompson identity. And Group Health informed me that I have to be cleared by Monday in order to start work and that if I cant get everything processed by then they will no longer be able to hire me because I have to be able to start Monday at 8 on the dot. I mean look at me do I look like a convicted felon NO. But they have to have federal government confirmation that I am not, and they already have someone waiting to take my spot if I fail to get confirmation. ( I am now mad at Mike for having such a common last name, I didnt have problems like this when I was a Boeck).
Tomorrow I will most likely think this is funny but right now I just want to cry because this job at Group Health is a great one it would allow me to go back to school and they might possible help pay for it and it pays AMAZING! So those police or who ever is going to finger print me better hustle it through the system so I can go to work!

Ahh! That would be horrible. You definitely don't look like a convicted felon! I'm glad you have a permanent job! Hooray!
